About

Eagle Travel of the Ozarks was founded in 1994 by Stephen D. Presley, a graduate of the United States Military Academy, after a twenty-year career in the Army. His international travels and worldwide network of military contacts provided a natural career transition to the travel industry.

Eagle Travel began as a leisure travel agency with an individual ticket sales office for Branson-area shows known as Ticket Express. An active advocate for military veteran affairs and activities, Steve served as a charter member of the Board of Directors for the Branson Veterans Task Force dedicated to making Branson the year-round home for veterans and their families.

As Branson has emerged as a major center for veterans’ activities, Eagle Travel is positioned to provide the finest accommodations, food and
entertainment for veterans choosing Branson as their travel destination.

In 2004, Steve co-founded the not-for-profit Operation Homecoming USA hosting the first national homecoming for Vietnam veterans. Welcome Home…America’s Tribute to Vietnam Veterans was held in Branson June 13-19, 2005. This seven-day event was attended by 35,000 veterans, families and friends and featured a parade, fishing and golf tournaments, demonstrations and rides on Vietnam-era aircraft, and a grand finale with 12 superstar entertainment acts from the 1960s and early 1970s.

Today Eagle Travel of the Ozarks provides:

  • Organizational reunions, conventions and conferences.
  • Worldwide air, land and sea travel tours for groups and individuals.
  • Branson shows, lodging and entertainment packages for group and individual travel.
  • Large event planning for veterans.
